The Order of Saints Francis and Clare

You may not know this, but before being Dominican, Fr. Kenn was Franciscan through the Order of Servant Franciscans and the Order of St.s Francis and Dominic.  Though he greatly loves the teachings of St. Dominic, Fr. Kenn has returned to his roots as a Franciscan friar in the UACC through the Order of St.s Francis and Clare.  It is with great joy we announce Fr. Kenn was accepted as a fully professed member on December 22, 2020.  As he continues to heal and move forward, please remember to keep him in your prayers.

This is an especially meaningful time to explore a Franciscan vocation as a friar, sister, deacon, or priest within the Order of Saints Francis and Clare.  The Order of Saints Francis and Clare is focused on the following three objectives: (1) the growth of community within the Order; (2) the strengthening of Franciscan Spirituality; and (3) the exploration of the charism of Dorothy Day as a modern echo of the lives of Francis and Clare.

Are you called to a life of simplicity and service, serving Christ as a Franciscan in the Order of Saints Francis and Clare?
