Fr. Kenn Nelan receives his sacramental authority under Bishop Tony Hash, OSB under the United American Catholic Church.  Though Fr. Kenn is a proud member of the UACC team, Sacred Wandering, Inc., remains its own entity and is NOT under the authority of any other body or group.

The following is taken from the United American Catholic Church homepage at:

The United American Catholic Church is called to be a missional church offering to everyone a spiritual home in which to live a Gospel-based life and fulfill the Great Commission of Christ:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

This Great Commission of Christ, this charge by the resurrected Jesus to his disciples to go out into the world and to make disciples of all peoples, baptizing them and teaching them the Word of God, is the calling, the mission, of the UACC.

The mission of the United American Catholic Church
is to fulfill the Great Commission by calling people to discipleship,
activating in them the priesthood of all believers, and growing strong and faithful clergy;
thus building the Reign of God on earth.

As soon as there is sufficient need, Fr. Kenn and the team will open Nuestra Señora del Camino (Our Lady of the Journey or Our Lady of the Way), which will then take over all sacramental functions.  However, because of events in the past with another organization, our parish will remain its own entity under the protection of Sacred Wandering, Inc.
